The line dance scene which for many years has been vibrant is suddenly being hit for six with both the Ambassodor and Venus hotels cutting back on the number of line dancing lessons and socials. However it's not all bad news Elaine and Tony are still going strong at the Rio Park with some great socials and classes and always with a smile on their faces and they are guaranteed to put a smile on yours.
Country and Western in Benidorm has always been reasonable well served by the Red Dog but now a new contender has opened up on the Calle Ibiza near the Magic Roundabout that is the Benidorm Opry with lots of live country music, afternoon country karaoke sessions for budding Garth's and Shania' with room for a dance and really pleasant atmosphere trust me there isn't a better place to go for your country music fix Billy the owner offers a warm welcome. Drink prices are very reasonable so hit the road jack and get on down there.
Music for dances is the most important part of line dancing and the place that has come into it's own is Itunes with the ability to download just the track you need has saved dance teachers thousands of pounds, but did you know you can also get movies, TV shows and some great apps for your Iphone or Ipod?
