Album Review Absolutely

Absolutely

Track One: "I Could Get Used To This"

This is a song about that awkward fumbling just fell in love moment when you do everything wrong but it doesn’t matter because you’ve just met the girl of your dreams. A great little dance number. suitable for a quickish Black Coffee

Track Two: "Just Doesn't Get It"

I light hearted look at relationships kinda of like men are from mars women are from venus angle but in song. another dance hit in the making,

Track Three: "Souvenirs"

The title tells it all, a love ballad delving into past memories looking at items that bring back all those memories, really like this song Shane voice really suits this kind of song, you feel the warmth in his voice.

Track Four: "Without Penny"

A heartfelt song about losing the love of your life, with a reasonable dance rhythm try easy come easy go.

Track Five: "Heart In Hand"

A song all about how hard it is to find the love of your life. Dance Stroll-along cha cha,

Track Six: "Southern Wind"

I’m a sucker for acoustic guitar and this track has some of the best going on, the song a soulful look at saying goodbye to someone you love. Shane sings this like he’s been there a really touching song.

Track Seven: "You're My Favorite Waste Of Time"

A very good version of a Owen Paul’s hit, the title tells it all.

Track Eight: "Tide And The Moon"

A love ballad about how well two people can fit together.

Track Nine: "Famous"

This could be about himself who knows cute idea about only wanting to be famous in the eyes of the person you love.

Track Ten: "Fallen In Love Way Over My Heart"

Got that honky tonk feel nice swingy number crying out for a dance to be written for it, song is about finding a real love at last.

Track Eleven: "I Saved A Kiss For You"

Mother and son song I dare you to just sit and listen to this track it has that you have to sway to it feel.

Track Twelve: "Baby I'd Die For You"

With a title like that you know what the songs about, Shane just brings it to life this is a good track.

Track Thirteen: "3 Beers To Mexico"

It wouldn’t be a country album without a reference to Mexico, the trick is how do you do it without sounding like Jimmy Buffet well Shane overcomes this by making reference to the great man. He even tips his hat to Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson. A light hearted look at life. A dance hit if I ever heard one.

Track Fourteen: "What's Your Name"

Country music is full of sad songs and this one is a real heart string puller, a song about a grandmother who couldn’t recognize her own grandson, This song is so tenderly done it brings tears to your eyes.

Track Fifteen: "Baby Let's Drive"

A real rock the country song that was used in a truck driving commercial and you can see why, a country song about hitting the road with a great rock beat, i’ll buy that.
